Kountry Kupboard in Walhalla

It's usually pretty busy in here at breakfast, that's the only time I have been here. There is only one waitress but she is really good! The food hasn't been that great the last few times we came (hence the 3 🌟 rating) but it used to be excellent... don't know if someone new is cooking but just isn't the same as before.

Stopped for a late breakfast after camping nearby. The portion sides were large, and prices were much lower than we expected. Good, down to earth food and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the meal and would recommend it. Veggie omelet was great. The pecan waffle was wonderful. Let's of bacon for the kids.

I'm stuffed! Huge portions and low prices. We stopped here after a camping trip at Oconee State Park, and we will definitely be back. Our waitress was friendly too.

Food is good but need more waitresses, full restaurant but only one waitress.She assumed check out girl took our order( girl only brought drinks) and we waited 45 min just for our order to be placed.Order was made top priority then with a lot of apologies.Waitress just overloaded.

The food was very bland, mac & cheese was nasty, coleslaw maybe had a dab of dressing in it, chicken would have been great if it had seasoning. Good for people that need a bland diet. I cant say this will be our last time eating there would like to try their breakfast. Felt bad for the only one waitress they had at lunchtime.

I love the food, I love the service. It don’t get any better than this from a hometown restaurant!

Maybe I'm grading too harshly for local kustoms but yeah, it was just ok. Had a cheeseburger, the best part. Texas toast because ther were no buns. Slaw was runny and sugary, so that was vile. To my palette. Steamed cabbage was limp. Mashed potato with the brown gravy was actually good. There exists the possibility of white gravy should you feel adventurous. Finishing off the meal were krinkle kut fries paired with what seemed to be Heinz ketchup.

Nothing great, four of us ate,2 thought it was okay,other 2 thought it was good..1st 2 had the hash brown and sausage casserole which was dry, other 2 had sausage and gravy and eggs which was good...

Enjoyed a delicious hamburger steak smothered in onions and brown gravy. With fries and salad and roll. Delicious. Very reasonable prices as well.

The food was really good. The biscuits especially. It always seems crowded. The waitress was very rushed. It is easy to miss if you don't know where to turn. The menu had good variety. The coffee was good too. Parking is limited. The sign is hard to see from the road.

Stopped in right before the closed for the day on Saturday and was highly impressed with their friendly service. The pancakes were very fluffy and very tasty. Everything hit the spot and make the trip in that part of the country worthwhile.

My family and friends had lunch at kountry kupboard , food was very good we had no compliance our waitress very nice we will be back again. The apple salad very good . Come out see for yourself.

My favorite place to eat. Apple salad is the best. Great fried chicken, mac and cheese.

Cheap quality food. Quality home southern cooking. Should be rated 5 stars however the service is incredibly sloooow. Would love to see this place expand during the rush it is elbow to elbow.

The name says it all: this is THE place for comfort food in Walhalla. If you've been missing grandma's cooking, you can get it here. Portions are generous, just like grandma's. Order off the "meat and three" chalkboard or the menu. Waitstaff is friendly and professional, though sometimes stretched a little thin during the busiest times. Open for breakfast and dinner (that's the mid-day meal, for you city folks). Decor is tired, so don't expect cute--go for the people and food, not ambiance.Always busy, popular with the over-60 set but welcoming to all. (We know folks who eat there every day.)Even if the two- and four-top tables and booths are full, you can always find a seat at the community tables, where I've met some very interesting people and had some hilarious conversations. Vegetarians can eat here with care; vegans would have a harder time.

It's such a good restaurant, we go to the cabins every year and we always go here! It's amazing and the food is great, I recommend the grilled cheese and fries 😌

Not good, highly processed, & greasy. Nothing we ate was homemade. My bill was $14.57 with tax. Paid with a debit card. When she gave me the receipt to sign there was an additional .55 cent charge added. I asked why the cashier said they switched to a new card system & it was to help pay for upgrade. " Not the customers responsibility to pay for that." 1st. time customer & last time customer.

Good food; good prices. Bathrooms were down to only one working. Service adequate; could be cleaner. An old building with old furnishings. Seems like good ole kountry folk.

Discovered this great little gem looking at lake property in the area. True southern cooking. Don't miss this place!

One of the few places for breakfast near me. Simple breakfast choices. The place isn't fancy but the service was excellent.

Great lunch specials. I would've given them a solid 5 but there were tons of flies in the establishment. So many flies, I thought Moses was nearby.

Always good home cooked food. Good service. Good prices. We go at least once a week sometimes for a veggie plate or a taco salad!

Food was good except the fried chicken. Great flavor, but DRY (have it with gravy). Waitress got everyone's orders mixed up, but she was sweet and attentive. No wait on a Sunday afternoon for the after church crowd, I was afraid we would have to wait. All in all, I recommend!

Prompt service and deliciously homemade meals and very reasonable prices. Would absolutely visit again!
